25th journey- Waiting for Peter . . . (25esimo viaggio - Aspettando Peter)

"you  won't forget me, Peter, will you, before spring cleaning time comes?"
of course Peter promised; and then he flew away.
("mi prometti che non ti dimenticherai di me, Peter, prima che la primavera ritorni?"
ovviamente Peter promise ; poi volò via)

This is the promise that Peter and Wendy exchanged when the boy brings his playmates at home : to meet again in the spring.
(Questa è la promessa che Peter e Wendy si sono scambiati quando il ragazzino riporta i suoi compagni di gioco a casa: rivedersi in primavera)

And since then Wendy waits impatiently, with the pillow in her arms, the floor still dirty of fairy powder, that spring returns.
(E da allora Wendy aspetta impaziente, col suo cuscino tra le braccia, il pavimento ancora sporco di polvere di fata, che la primavera ritorni)

Dreamy she goes to the window (of course since then she always leaves it open) and waits.
(trasognante si avvicina alla finestra - che ovviamente da allora lascia sempre aperta- e aspetta)

waiting for the day to return to Neverland
(aspetta il giorno di poter tornare a Neverland)

waiting for Peter's return.
(aspetta il ritorno di Peter Pan)

Who of you doesn't do the same as Wendy?
(chi di voi non fa come Wendy?)

Who of you doesn't wait for Peter to take him again back to the wonderful world of childhood?
(chi non aspetta che Peter ritorni per portarci ancora nel fantastico mondo della nostra infanzia?)

Some of you are saying: "Peter never came to me!" and instead I can assure that Peter came to each one of you, giving you dreams and fantastic adventures, but most of people have forgotten, growing up.
(qualcuno si starà dicendo "Peter non è mai venuto da me!" e invece vi assicuro che lui è venuto da ognuno di voi, vi ha regalato sogni e avventure, ma la maggior parte crescendo ha dimenticato.)

So, do as Wendy . . .

I'm sure Peter will return to greet you and to give you so much magic again.

Vanity fairy bunny - (coniglietta fatata vanitosa)

This morning a beautiful butterfly came to visit me
(questa mattina è venuta a trovarmi una bellissima farfalla)

She gently settled on my finger making a slight tickling
 (delicatamente si è posata sul mio dito facendomi un leggero solletico)

but when I looked better . . .
(poi però ho guardato meglio e . . .)

I discovered it wasn't a butterfly!
(non era una farfalla!)

but a little fairy bunny
(ma una piccola coniglietta fatata)

She was so cute with her butterfly wings that I took a little flower and I put it on her long ear
(era talmente carina con le sue ali da farfallina che ho colto un fiore e gliel'ho posto sul lungo orecchio)

The little one was so happy that started to twirl, vainly happy
(la piccola era così felice che cominciò vanitosamente a volteggiare felice)

And after thanking me she flew far away
(dopo avermi ringraziato è volata via lontano)

I'll have to pay closer attention the next time I see a butterfly, maybe it could be another vain fairy bunny waiting for a flower!!
(la prossima volta mi converrà far maggiore attenzione quando vedrò una farfalla, potrebbe essere un'altra coniglietta fatata vanitosa che aspetta un fiorellino)

please, forgive my long absence!!! I hope to be more present from this day on . . .

24th journey- Woodland Tinkerbell (24esimo viaggio- Campanellino silvestre)

Today we are in the most hidden place of Neverland, and look who I met in its woods?
(Oggi siamo proprio nei posti più nascosti di Neverland, e guardate cosa ho incontrato nei suoi boschi?)

Just her! Tinkerbell
(proprio lei, Campanellino.)

When Peter, in the beautiful book of James Barrie, presents her to Wendy and her brother John and Michael  they can't understand what the fairy is saying,
(Quando Peter nel bellissimo libro di James Barrie la presenta a Wendy e ai suoi fratellini John e Michael Darling essi non riescono a capire cosa la fatina stia dicendo,)

They can hear only a gentle trill of bells.
( sentono solo un delicato trillo di campanellini.)

that's why she was called so
(E' da qui che nasce il suo nome )

. . . but all the fairies' voices remind us of bells playing gently.
(ma un pò tutte le voci delle fatine somigliano a campanellini che suonano delicatamente.)

Peter is the only one that can understand them, because he has a pure heart
(Ma Peter sa capire quel trillo perchè ha un cuore puro e non è cresciuto)

perhaps if we listen carefully and in silence we will be able to understand the delicate voice of the fairies?
(forse anche noi se ascoltiamo bene e in silenzio possiamo riuscire a capire la delicata voce delle fatine?)

The important thing is to forget for a moment to be adult and to remember when we were children.
(basta solo dimenticare per un istante di essere adulti e ricordare quando eravamo bambini.)

I'm sure that everyone can be like Peter if we dont' forget to dream.
(Sono convinta che tutti potrebbero essere come Peter se non ci dimentichiamo di sognare)

23rd journey -Sakura, cherry blossom's fairy (23esimo viaggio, Sakura, la fatina dei fiori di ciliegio)

And finally came the Springtime!!
(E finalmente è iniziata la primavera!!)

 Everything is blooming, the birds are singing, the trees awaken.
(Tutto è fiorito, gli uccelli cantano, gli alberi si svegliano.)

The world wears its colors again
(Il mondo si veste di nuovo dei suoi colori)

And the sweet touch of Lady Spring, like every year, awakens everything.
(E il dolce tocco della Primavera, come ogni anno, risveglia tutto.)

During this time you can see many flowering trees such as Cherry trees.
(In questo periodo si possono ammirare molti alberi in fiore, come i Ciliegi.)

 
Majestic trees with small and tender flowers that announce that the Winter is over.
(Maestosi alberi con piccoli e teneri fiorellini che ci annunciano che l'inverno è finito.)

 
And if you look carefully, you can see among the branches a little fairy that, finally, after waiting for so many days this wonderful moment, with her face up, surprised admires the beauty of those flowers.
(E se si guarda con attenzione, tra i rami è possibile scorgere una piccola fatina che finalmente, dopo aver atteso per tanti giorni questo meraviglioso momento, col viso in su, ammira meravigliata la bellezza di quei fiori.)

The bloom of this flower lasts a few days.
(La fioritura di questo fiore dura pochi giorni.)

 
For this reason Japan celebrated the "Hanami", a ceremony that celebrates the transience of life, ephemeral as a cherry blossom. 
(Per questo in Giappone viene celebrato l' "hanami", una cerimonia  che ricorda a tutti la caducità della vita, effimera come un fiore di ciliegio.)

 
But for now, let's imitate the fairy!
(Ma per ora, imitiamo la fatina!)

 
let's admire those little flowers in all their glory
(ammiriamo quei piccoli fiori in tutto il loro splendore)

Spring is here!!
(La primavera è qui!!)
